David Carter, a Texan through and through, spent his life as an electrician before retiring to answer a higher calling. Raised Southern Baptist, he found his true path in the Pentecostal faith, guided by God’s “still voice.” From swapping his sister’s dying turtle as a kid to keep her believing in miracles, to hearing God’s call to witness and preach, David’s life is a testament to divine guidance. A family man with his wife Joyce and kids Jaelynn and Derek, he shares his journey with warmth and wit. In 2025, David wrote Still Voice at God’s command, hoping to spark faith and support widows and orphans with its proceeds.
